Azerbaijan’s first life insurance company, Ateshgah Life was established in March 1998 and passed its registration for provision of life insurance services in compliance with the requirements of the Law On Insurance Activities in December 2008.
The company offers the following types of life insurance services: term life insurance, universal life insurance, credit life insurance, critical illness insurance and compulsory insurance against disability from industrial accidents and occupational illnesses. The company offers insurance services to both legal entities and individuals.
Ateshgah Life was the first company in Azerbaijan to obtain a perpetual licence for compulsory insurance against disability from industrial accidents within the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan, On Compulsory Insurance against Disability from Industrial Accidents and Occupational Illnesses.
The Ateshgah Life insurance company has more than 80 employees. The company arranges regular training courses for its employees to ensure that it provides highly professional customer service.
Customers of Ateshgah Life include BP, Statoil, Azeri M.I. Drilling, mobile operators Azercell, Bakcell, Azerfon and others.
As a member of Atashgah Insurance Group, the Atashgah Life insurance company operates from thirteen offices in Baku, as well as offices in the cities of Sumgayit, Gandja, Lenkoran, Sheki, Khachmaz, Mingechevir, Ismayilli, Salyan, Imishli and Barda.
